At Destress doodling this month we had a theme of being in the open spaces of the mountains and hills, enjoying the mysterious light and space to breathe. It was a relaxing group with people having the time to settle, feel grounded and calm.
We had a positive creative space to make some drawings without any worries about how they would go or fears about showing them, just quality time to doodle and chill, with photos to work from of hills and skies, and some guidance from Blair when needed.
Blair suggested some doodles to start with, and we enjoyed a blind drawing (not looking at the paper whilst drawing) which most folk hadn’t done before – see Blair’s pink doodle above. A classic poem about living peacefully in the mountains and white rolling clouds by Han Shan inspired us. Many thanks to the participants who sent pictures, lovely doodling with you!
