What materials to use?

For our various groups, especially online, we recommend having suitable materials. There are always options depending on the creative group – please ask us if you are unsure what you need for one of our groups. Some of the items we may have stock of, and can sell to our participants. 

We have included links below to shops selling each item, please note we can’t be sure of the quality of items from any shops (as we buy most of our own stock wholesale), the links given are to give you an idea what you need and to help you find something.

For Shodo calligraphy, Shakyo Sutra Tracing and Tenkoku stamp seal engraving groups, if you don’t have the traditional materials, you can still take part with some basic alternatives, any questions please just ask us 🙂
